This was an easy choice and our team agreed unanimously. For over a decade, Tommy has been a champion for people in his community of Tampa Florida and also for the faith based hip-hop crowd. This past October, several members of the Sphere of Hip-Hop team were able to see all of his hard work and prayer come to fruition with the opening of Crossover’s new facility. The joy on his face was evident even after going through a laundry list of challenging situations prior to the event. A highlight for me was being able to serve alongside Tommy in helping get the venue set up. God honored his dream and his heart. Many years of hard work, service, patience and perseverance paid off. All of this is tremendously inspiring for us and Crossover is the a model for ministries trying to reach an urban crowd.

  5. Just listened to him yesterday in 40 Days in the Word which is an on-line program done by Rick Warren. Each day there is a different pastor — Urban D. is Session 5, Day 35. A different approach to scripture; but one that reaches out in a different/positive way!
