Once again teaming up with countryman, Rel McCoy, DIE-REK takes a hot minute to get “unpredictable”. Using his verses to fire off on all cylinders about topics ranging from family to finances to faith, DIE-REK proves to be the missing link between variable and familiar. He expertly rides the self-produced groove which sounds like an alien transmission from the upside-down with poise and intent. Rel McCoy pops up on hook duties with a refrain that encapsulates affection and admiration. The uplifting tone pierces through the soul like a sunbeam shining at the peak of the afternoon hour.
