For many hip-hop fans, Shad came out of nowhere with his latest release TSOL. Truth is… he has been around for a while and has released several albums to date. His combination of regular guy hip-hop mixed with socially conscious rhymes is refreshing. He’s even willing to poke fun at himself at times and it shows that he doesn’t take himself so seriously like most other artists. His musical approach is so easy on the ears that it will please even the most casual fan of hip-hop. We need more artists like Shad in hip-hop and I believe I speak for many when I say… I cannot wait to see and hear what’s next.
