Saskatoon, Saskatchewan based hip-hop artist RationaL has been laying in the woodworks for years now. Rash has quietly been building up a catalogue of brand new music to drop on the world. “The BirthWrite LP” has been an album over 5 years in the making. RationaL began writing and recording for the project back in 2005, at the ripe young age of 19. Back in November of 2009 RationaL shot a music video for the lead single off of “The BirthWrite LP“, entitled “Cocaine Cowboy”. After months of post-production and screening “Cocaine Cowboy” is finally ready to be unleashed. Thus, March 29 is the much anticipated Video Premier for “Cocaine Cowboy” being held live in Saskatoon at the Cosmo Center. RationaL will be joined alongside legendary hip-hop duo Zion I (Oakland, CA – Live Up Records), RELIC (Brampton, ON – Gamma Delta Productions) and DJ Heywood. RationaL and RELIC will also be performing with Pharoahe Monch (Queens, NY – Duck Down Records) and hip-hop supergroup Slaughterhouse (Crooked I, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Royce da 5’9″) April 14 at The Pat Nightclub in downtown Saskatoon.
