  6. I’m heartbroken. “The Way I Cry” from the Darke Bros. cd has been moving me for the past couple of months so it’s been on constant replay. All I can think about is what he said on that track…man…

  7. Yeah man I remember the song “Frame Retardent” and Easily A Muse”. Dope joints! I am a big SI fan and will remember Ruffian.

  8. Thank you all for your wonderful comments, thoughts, and prayers!! Arthur is such a wonderful spirit, and the qualities that you hear in his lyrics were heartfelt. We’ll miss him severely.

  9. I would like to say that today, again, I’m shocked and devastated because we lost a REAL UNDERGROUND Hip-Hop Artist and a very young husband and father too young to leave us now.

Even if you don’t have millions of fans around the World as other “artists” have, you have much more: you were part of the people giving us the REAL Music. You represent the real & true Hip-Hop mentality which is based on a real life style and way of thinking and not on stupid rap clips full of guns, girls & money we can see all day long on MTV because the artists are so wack that everybody would zap after 10 seconds.

I’m sure God is waiting for you with open arms and will tell you how proud he is about your life between us and everything positive you did for your family, your friends and your fans.
You will always be an example for all of us.

That’s how you will always stay in my heart and mind.

I pray for your Family, particularly your Daughters, your Son, your Mother, your Sister, your brother, your grandparents. May God bless your Family and be a real support to them.

R.I.P. Arthur Maurice “Ruffian” Ayler. We already miss you…

    a devastated fan.

  10. Heartbreaking news. My condolences and prayers to his family and friends, he will be sorely missed.

  11. Ruff will always stand as an inspiration to me as an artist as well as a man of faith. I am blessed to have heard his heart before he left this earth. My prayers continue for his friends and family.

  12. Dropping my respects…May God bless and comfort the SI crew and and the family of Mr.Ruffian. Hearing and seeing this news just has me in shock. Life is too short. Proverbs 3:5-6
